It will be important for teachers participating in the NASA Lift Off Project to have an online system for sharing their work. There needs to be a formative and summative system for this sharing process. We envision that teachers will be able to share their ongoing work on a system such as Wet Paint. This free and advertisement-free Wiki will support teachers as they work collaboratively to build their instructional cases. You can find a prototype for this work at

NASA Lift Off Working Online Web site

Teachers will be able to use the Student Work Profile (SWP) site to collaborate and calibrate student written products that align with the instructional cases http://www.swp.k12.ca.us/

Students would use the on line Looking at Student Work Protocol to help design and use systems for collaborating and calibrating using actual written student products http://www.lasw.org/

When Instructional cases are at a mature state they will be added to sites such as Merlot and the NSF-sponsored Digital Library Initiative.
