Davis Epidemiologic Diagnostics In the summer of 1998 I began some research work with Prof. Ian Gardner, of the Epidemiology Department, and Prof. Wes Johnson, of the Statistics Department, from the University of California at Davis related to country-wide disease freedom using Bayesian modeling and the Gibbs Sampler. I am in the process or writing a program to implement the Gibbs Sampler for our model.
