FINAL OFFICIAL TRANSCRIPTS: DUE FEBRUARY 14, 2012 TO THE ADMISSIONS OFFICE
Please do NOT send transcripts to the Nursing Department.
Send transcripts only to the CSUEB Admissions Office, at the address below:
Office of Admission
CSU, East Bay
25800 Carlos Bee Blvd.
Hayward, CA 94542
**The February 14 deadline is for Nursing Program applicants only. If you miss this transcript/document deadline, then you will not be considered for fall 2012 Admission.
You can order transcripts now if you do not have any fall 2011 in-progress classes, and send them right away.
You can mail or hand-carry the transcripts to the Admissions office as long as they are official in a sealed envelope when delivered.
GPA
We will review applicants for minimum GPA requirements and notify candidates if they do not meet the minimum 3.00 GPA as soon as possible. You can review your GPA on your application now. Go to the same page where you submitted the application, http://www.sci.csueastbay.edu/nursing/fall2012admission.html and click on the link below to edit your application.
You'll see the GPA calculations at the end of the prerequisite section of the nursing application.
DEADLINES:
The following items are due by February 14. These items must be received, not postmarked, by this date.
UPDATE YOUR APPLICATION: If you have in-progress classes or need to add your TEAS score, please login again to your application and make changes. Press the "submit" button again to save changes. As long as you submitted your application the first time before November 30, you can access your application until February 14.
ADMINISTRATIVE ACCESS TO YOUR APPLICATION : As we evaluate your application, we may make minor updates/changes to correct errors in how the application was filled out, or to update curriculum if one of your courses does not satisfy our prerequisites and an alternate class is found on your transcripts.
ADDITIONAL CLASSES
You can leave the "additional classes" (nutrition, psychology, sociology) blank if you have not yet taken them. If you have already taken them or plan to take them in spring or summer, please fill out what you know so far. These courses do not affect your overall application, but are reviewed later if you are admitted.
**All applications are currently under review; status is not yet available.
Click here to edit your application.
**If you received a packet in the mail offering you conditional admission to the pre-nursing
program, this is from the University Admissions Office, not the Nursing Department. Both
offices review applications at the same time and send out different letters. Nursing
Department notifications generally go out in late April/early May each year.
If CSUEB denies your admission to the University, this overrides any offer of admission
made by the Nursing program.
**Some personal email accounts have filtered our Nursing Department emails into Spam
folders. Please check your Spam folder regularly during the application process if you are
not yet using a CSUEB email account. We send important updates and reminders via email
and we do not want you to miss these. Thank you!!
