Spheres, Homotopy Groups, the Hopf Map, and the Homotopy Groups of Spheres

This talk will be aimed toward folks who enjoy pictures. An n- dimensional sphere being one of the easiest spaces to construct, and homotopy groups being perhaps the easiest tool in topology to define, "the Homotopy Groups of Spheres" somehow remains an unsolved problem. With plenty of visuals, I will spend most of the talk describing the first 'surprising' map between spheres: the Hopf map.

Pizza and soda will be served for those attending!
