Lunar Orbits
What is the path that a moon traces as it revolves around its planet and its planet revolves about its sun? We will show that under certain conditions, the path is convex, and we will show that OUR moon satisfies those conditions. We will also investigate planets with multiple moons and look at the paths those moons trace, and we will look at the paths of "moons of moons" (a satellite revolving around a moon revolving around a planet revolving around a sun), "moons of moons of moons", and so on.
